As part of The Compass Group’s expansion into Alternative Investment Vehicles, Mr. Eguche was brought on board in 2012 to manage the new Compass Frontier Partners fund. He focuses on sourcing and researching compelling investment opportunities in Africa and, to a lesser extent, the Middle East. Hailing from the continent, Mr. Eguche spent his formative years between several African nations and has witnessed the stellar transformation firsthand. He continues to enjoy frequent travel to these regions on discovery and due diligence expeditions, and remains intrigued by the continued progress and prospects.
Prior to joining The Compass Group, Mr. Eguche worked in equity research at Susquehanna International Group, private equity at EEA Fund Management, and investment banking at Credit Suisse. He graduated as valedictorian from Columbia Business School, where he received the Nahum Melumad Memorial Award for Outstanding Scholarship. He is also a valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude graduate of Howard University, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst certification. In addition to English, Mr. Eguche is conversational in several other languages and hopes to regain his fluency in all of them.

As a seasoned investment management professional with over 24 years of experience in real estate operations and private equity investing, Mr. Guilford’s primary responsibilities are the identification and assessment of new opportunities. In addition to real estate acquisitions, Mr. Guilford leads an internal team of professionals in the development and execution of each asset level strategic plan, while maintaining institutional level reporting standards on behalf of Danbe’s investor clients.
Before co-founding Danbe Partners, Mr. Guilford was CFO of New Faze Development, a leading real estate management firm of commercial and residential developments in Northern California. Prior to that, he held a senior level asset management and finance position with Strand Capital, a private equity real estate investment firm. In addition to providing financial underwriting for all new acquisitions, Mr. Guilford was responsible for the asset management of a $100 million equity fund with a market value in excess of $1 billion. Additionally, Mr. Guilford spent a number of years in the real estate industry working within the acquisition and asset management departments for firms such as Colony Capital, Green Park Group / Warburg Pincus & MetLife Real Estate. Mr. Guilford is an active participant in philanthropic organizations within his community, and an active member in the Rotary Club of Manhattan Beach, and the Knights of Columbus. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from The Anderson School at UCLA.
Compass Danbe Real Estate Partners
With over 18 years of experience in program and project management, corporate operations, and real estate development, Mr. Bachli’s diverse background is a perfect fit for Danbe’s growth strategy. Mr. Bachli’s primary focus is on sourcing new real estate projects that offer opportunities for repositioning and development across the Western U.S., and executing their on-site strategic business plans.
Prior to Danbe, Mr. Bachli was a partner at Bond Companies, a leading national real estate development firm where he played a significant role in the development, lease-up, and sale of Sunset & Vine, the firm’s $160 million West Coast flagship mixed-use residential and retail development. Prior to that, Mr. Bachli held senior engineering and management roles at W.R. Grace & Company’s Construction Products Division where he was the recipient of the Corporate Vision Award. In addition, he provided engineering consulting services to building owners and operators on projects including Disney Concert Hall and the Los Angeles City Hall. Mr. Bachli holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Yale University, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from The Anderson School at UCLA.
