Anodyne Medical Device Inc. Anodyne Medical Device, Inc.

Compass Group Investments, Inc. and its subsidiaries partnered with Hollywood Capital to form and capitalize Anodyne Medical Device, Inc. in February of 2006. Anodyne was formed specifically to acquire manufacturers of medical support surfaces. Medical support surfaces are products designed to treat and prevent decubitus ulcers, or pressure ulcers, typically formed on immobile patients. Concurrent with its formation, Anodyne, headquartered in Los Angeles, California, acquired AMF Support Surfaces, a manufacturer of specialty devices for the treatment and prevention of pressure ulcers, and SenTech Medical Systems, a designer and manufacturer of alternating pressure, low air loss and lateral rotation specialty support surfaces. With the initial acquisitions, and with add-on acquisitions consummated since then, Anodyne has become one of the nation’s leading designers and manufacturers of specialty support surfaces and is able to manufacture products on both coasts of the United States to better serve a national customer base.

CGI sold its interest in Anodyne in May of 2006 to Compass Diversified Holdings.
