The Compass Group supports management teams who are trying to build companies or vehicles which operate in interesting and hard to access global asset classes. In the past, we have worked with Anholt to help build a broad range of these types of companies and vehicles, including:
- Establishment of Southern Harvest, Ltd., a participant in the global agriculture markets and significant farm land owner in South America
- Partnership with management teams in the creation of several specialty finance companies with strategies focused on the venture lending, trade finance and mezzanine lending markets
- Establishment of vehicles designed to benefit from the growth of developing and frontier markets, with particular focus on Southeast Asia and Africa
